CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - The medical examiner's office in Chattanooga says the death of a man whose body was found in the Tennessee River has been ruled a suicide.
Authorities Wednesday identified him as 39-year-old Christopher John Friberg of Chattanooga, whose body was spotted by a kayaker Tuesday afternoon near Moccasin Bend.
The medical examiner said the cause of death was apparent drowning.
