
DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A grand jury has indicted two men in connection with a shooting during a raccoon hunt.
The incident happened in March on DeKalb County Road 146.
The grand jury indicted Harold Thompson on attempted murder charges and his son William Thompson on charges of assault.
Investigators said the men confronted a group of hunters and shots were fired.
One of the hunters, Jerome Higdon, was hit along with Harold Thompson.
