Altercation ends in stabbing outside of Cherokee store

CHEROKEE, AL (WAFF) - An altercation over money ended in a stabbing in Cherokee Sunday night.

Police said the incident occurred outside a convenience store on Highway 72. The stabbing victim is in the hospital in stable condition.

Police said the district attorney will likely present the case to a county grand jury for possible charges.
