One killed in wreck near Decatur river bridge

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) – Two people involved in a two-vehicle wreck in Guntersville were killed early Friday afternoon.

The collision occurred on Sunset Drive in Guntersville near Patterson Drive shortly before 1 p.m. A red car lost control, veered into traffic and hit a blue truck.

The driver and the passenger in the car were killed. The other passenger in the car suffered minor injuries. The driver of the truck suffered broken bones.
