NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A BBC radio producer has been given a media achievement award by the Country Music Association.
BBC Radio 2 executive producer Al Booth was awarded the 2009 Wesley Rose International Media Achievement Award for promoting country music outside the United States.
Booth produces the station's weekly country program and has covered various music awards shows, and written and produced BBC documentaries.
Rose was a pioneering song publisher in Nashville.
