HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - The National Transportation and Safety Board is heading up the investigation, and even after three years, it has yet to release it's report.

November 20th will mark the 3rd anniversary of the Lee High School bus crash.

Four young women died, and dozens of students were hurt when the bus plunged from Interstate 565.

The NTSB converged on Huntsville shortly after Lee High School bus number 5037 crashed in 2006.

Investigators went straight to work combing through the bus wreckage, walking the path the school bus traveled, taking measurements and talking to witnesses.

That's been 3 years ago, and to date, there is no word on an exact cause.

Attorney Mark McDaniel represented nearly two dozen families in injury lawsuits.

He said it's time the NTSB comes forward with their findings to help give closure to those affected by the accident.

Those who survived the crash are still coping, emotionally and physically.

One still dealing with the after math of traumatic injuries and losing her girlfriends is Felicia Collier.

We've followed her story from the very beginning.

How is this remarkable young woman doing 3 years later?

Her family is hopeful that tell-all NTSB report will be released soon.

"I don't know why this has taken so long," said Huntsville McDaniel.

It was just like shock, disbelief how in the world? We send our children to school put them on the school bus this just don't happen," he continued.

What's the hold up? A special assignment report answering some of those questions answered that critical report.
