PULASKI, TN (WAFF) - A second person was arrested Friday in a Tennessee fire that killed three people in October.
County Sheriff Kyle Helton told WAFF 48 News that Matthew Wood had been charged in the blaze. Wood had previously been named as a "person of interest" in the alleged arson, which killed Desere Thornton and her sons, 16-year-old Jerrod and 9-year-old Anthony.
Wood was hospitalized in the burn unit of Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after the fire on Milky Way Drive in Pulaski on Oct. 23.
William Charles Angel Jr. was charged with three counts of first-degree murder shortly after the fire.
The two teens allegedly targeted Jerrod Thornton and his family after he began dating the ex-girlfriend of one of the boys.
