
MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) - Three north Alabama county health departments still have some H1N1 vaccine.
That vaccine will be given out at the Lauderdale and Colbert County clinics Wednesday and at the Franklin County Health Department Thursday.
All other north Alabama clinics gave out their allotment of vaccine for people in high-risk categories last week.
Swine flu is now blamed for 29 deaths in Alabama. Because the H1N1 vaccine is coming in at a slow rate, the following high-risk persons will be vaccinated first:
Alabama has suffered 29 fatalities due to the H1N1 outbreak. Three victims were less than 20 years of age. The majority of the fatalities, 18, ranged in age from 25 to 64. The remaining eight victims were over 65.
