HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Huntsville police are investigating a late night robbery to a business and the suspects are all juveniles.

It happened Saturday just after 11 p.m. at Bama Grocery at 2310 University Drive.

Police said arrests are expected.

Investigators said a worker was stocking the store when several juveniles entered.  One of them robbed the clerk and the store, while the others assaulted him.

A worker at the store Sunday told WAFF 48 News the victim was the store's owner.

He was not seriously injured.

Longtime customers and friends of the victim, known as 'Mo,' said he's a good man who's been robbed several times in the past, but has kept the store open for the customers.

"He's good with the customers. He'd share thoughts, feelings and everything with everybody. He's a good guy and whatever. I'm sorry that happened to him that way," said Virguss Conley, a longtime friend of the victim.

The store has been owned by the victim for at least two decades.

Recently, bars were placed on the windows after several earlier break-ins.
