Drug dealer re-arrested: video only on WAFF

Posted: Updated:

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- A meth bust at a New Hope business ended with the re-arrest of a drug dealer who just recently got out of prison.

New Hope police received a tip of crystal meth being bought and sold in the area.

Officers then set up at a business on Main Street after they were tipped off to a possible meth buy. They found the suspect's Jeep Cherokee loaded with the ingredients to make methamphetahmine and an amount of marijuana.

Only WAFF 48 News was there Monday as Madison County deputies and STAC agents slapped the handcuffs on Andrew Passuer and hauled him off to jail.

Police say he was staying in Lacey's Spring and bringing meth to New Hope.

Passuer is being held on charges of manufacturing meth and possession of a controlled substance.  His bond is set at over half a million dollars.
