MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- Fire crews battled an early morning house fire early in Marshall County.
It started shortly after five this morning on 4th Street in Grant, just off Main Street, which is also Cathedral Caverns Highway.
Firefighters tell us someone saw an orange glow from the street and called 9-1-1. Firefighters were able to quickly to get the fire under control.
Investigators say no one was in the home at the time the fire broke out. Investigators say the people who live in the home were planning on moving out soon.
The fire marshall has been brought in to investigate possible causes.
