LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man accused of sexually abusing a child.
Investigators say 53-year-old Curtis Leon May of Danville is charged with sexual abuse of a child less than 12-years-old.
Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell says the arrest stems from an incident that occurred in May of 2009.
May is accused of having sexual contact with a 5-year-old female.
May is in the Lawrence County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
