MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- One person is under arrest after a stand-off with Madison County Sheriff's office.

Deputies said 19-year-old Charles Spears broke into his girlfriend's home at 109 Greenwood Circle in Harvest.

They said that once inside the home, Spears made threats toward his girlfriend and himself.

Deputies said he then ran outside and to his mother's home on Earl Phillips near Jeff Road. That's where deputies caught up with him and took him into custody.

No word yet on what charges spears is facing.
