FRANKLIN COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- An elderly woman missing from overnight has been found alive in Franklin County.
84-year-old Olene Tompkins was talking and taken to her home by family members.
Ken Dobbs with the Belgreen Fire Department tells us Tompkins has Alzheimer's and was last seen around seven Monday morning.
Family members believe she left home between lunchtime and five Monday evening.
Search crews focused their efforts around Tompkins' home, which is on Tompkins Road in Belgreen, just west of Russellville.
Searchers said the terrain is very rocky, and they were concerned for her safety.
