Teen charged with manslaughter in fatal crash

MADISON, AL (WAFF) - A teenager is charged with manslaughter following a fatal wreck in August.

David James Mears faces two counts of manslaughter. Madison police said he caused a wreck at the intersection of Wall Triana Highway and Gooch Lane in Madison.

A woman in the other car and her unborn child died in the collision.

Mears has been charged as an adult.
