Ketchup Restaurant is closing its doors

Posted: Updated:

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A restaurant in Bridge Street Town Centre is closing its doors.

Ketchup is closing Sunday September 27th. The restaurant, which is part of the Dolce group, opened in spring of 2008.

Lonnie Moore, a partner in the Dolce Group, says they are sad to be closing ketchup.

"We are sad to be closing our Ketchup location in the Bridge Street Town Centre," said Moore. "The competition for American dining on the Huntville dining scene is very fierce so we must close our doors.  We remain optimistic and excited about our presence in Huntsville and are focusing our efforts on our Italian Trattoria, Dolce, in the Bridge Street Town Centre. We look forward to continuing our great relationship with Huntsville diners."

Moore says they are now focusing their efforts on their restaurant Dolce.
