Several Valley school cafeterias earn good grade from inspectors

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- In addition to restaurants, several Valley school cafeterias started off the school year with impressive scores. Here's a quick look at how some local restaurants and eateries fared with inspectors this week.

Madison County

The Inside Out Café on County Line Road in Madison had a low score of 77.

Although, several schools in Madison County started off the year right with perfect scores of 100. They are:

  • New Hope High School on Main Drive in New Hope
  • Central School on Ryland Pike in Huntsville
  • Little Madison Academy on Old Madison Pike in Huntsville
  • Sparkman Middle School on Carter Gin Road in Toney.

Lawrence County

Buffallo Rock on County Road 150 in Courtland received a 94.

Nash's Bar-B-Que on County Road 439 in Hillsboro got a 97.

Morgan County

Three Kingdomz on 6th Ave. SE in Decatur was the county's lowest scorer with an 84.

Subway on Highway 67 in Somerville scored a near perfect 99.

Franklin County

The Piggly Wiggly on 4th Avenue SW in Red Bay scored a 92.

Phil Campbell High School's cafeteria has Franklin County's only perfect 100.

Colbert County

China House on West Avalon Avenue in Muscle Shoals comes in with a low score of

72.

Wilson Elementary on 31st Street and Threadgill Primary School on Annapolis Avenue in Sheffield made the grade with a score of 99.

Covenant Christian School on Covenant Drive in Tuscumbia also scored an impressive 99.
