
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - WAFF 48 News has learned what's to blame for starting a fire Saturday afternoon that displaced a family a four.
Huntsville firefighters tell us fireworks caused this blaze that broke out around 1:45 at a home on Halmac drive.
The fire started outside and it appears the majority of damage is to the roof over the front porch.
The home is not a total loss, but Red Cross is assisting the family. The structure received smoke and water damage.
