RAINBOW CITY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say two men are jailed in the death of an Etowah County woman.
The Etowah County Sheriff's office said Wednesday investigators arrested 37-year-old Shawne Rust Farrar and 32-year-old Jeremy Gale Houghtalling, both of Etowah County.
The victim, 22-year-old Nita Michelle Clayborn of Boaz, was found dead Tuesday afternoon in the backseat of her car on Whorton Bend Road near Rainbow City.
Farrar was charged with murder and abuse of a corpse. Houghtalling was charged with abusing a corpse and hindering prosecution.
Sheriff's officials said the men were arrested Tuesday night.
No motive was given.
