DECATUR, AL (WAFF) - The jury will begin deliberations Thursday morning in the Daniel Wade Moore murder trial.
Moore is charged with killing Karen Tipton in March of 1999.
The jury will be debating 4 counts of capital murder and one lesser charge of non-capital intentional murder.
Wednesday began with strong closing arguments on both sides.
The plea from Assistant Attorney General Corey Maze came Wednesday during closing arguments in the trial of Daniel Wade Moore.
Maze told jurors an acquittal would send a bad message to the community.
But defense lawyer Sherman Powell argued that Moore is innocent.
He urged jurors to search their minds and hearts and make a decision they can live with.
The jury is to report in by 9 o'clock Thursday morning.
They will select a foreperson and begin deliberations then.
