(WAFF) - After a nice sunny day, cloud cover will build overnight.
Mostly cloudy skies take over for your Valentine’s Day. Temperatures end up on the warm side, with highs topping out in the low to mid 60s. Evening temperatures will dive into the mid 50s.
Rain is expected to hold off until Friday night to wrap up the work week.
A wet pattern will be in place from Friday to likely next Friday. Showers are possible Saturday morning and afternoon temperatures dive into the mid 50s.
Sunday starts the week with rain and the highest rain chance is on Tuesday with showers and possibly a few storms starting early and lasting into the night. A First Alert has been issued for Tuesday because of the risk for flooding.
Wednesday could have a few leftover showers from Tuesday, but midweek through Friday rain coverage will loosen up a bit.
By next Friday, a few showers could show up, but we will trend drier heading into the weekend.
