(WAFF) - Rain is moving out, sliding from the west to the east. A few spotty light showers will be possible through the night, but quiet conditions will take over most of the Tennessee Valley. Overnight lows will swing into the upper 30s.
Sunday may have a few spots of drizzle/showers, especially during the morning, but expect a dry day. The clouds will hang around tomorrow. Afternoon highs will be cool, reaching the mid to upper 40s.
Monday kick starts the new work week with dry conditions and clouds will continue to fade to partly cloudy. Sunshine returns to our sky Tuesday. Wednesday brings mostly sunny skies and temperatures into the 50s. The first half of the work week will be dry, but as temperatures warm through the week, rain chances will climb back into the forecast. Rain returns Thursday through the weekend.
Next Saturday includes a very soggy scenario. A system will bring plenty of rain Saturday, and Sunday looks to be significantly colder as cold air filters in from the north. Highs during next weekend drop from the upper 50s to the upper 30s.
Rain is likely at the end of the week.
