(WAFF) - The weekend wraps up on a more quiet note. Some patchy fog is noticed across the Tennessee Valley, and could limit visibility for a good part of this morning. Some light drizzle will be possible through the morning as well, but drier conditions come today.
The system that provided the rain over the past few days has moved farther northeast and will continue on that northeastward track. Expect clouds with peaks of sunshine today with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
Skies will be mostly clear early this week.
Wet weather returns Wednesday night, and the work week concludes Friday with rain with the possibility of frozen precipitation.
Highs for the week will be in the 50s until Friday. Cold air will filter in and high will drop into the 40s.
