Guntersville police need help identifying suspect in restaurant burglary

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - For the second time in a week a man in Marshall County has been caught on video stealing.

First in Arab, now in Guntersville.

The burglar was caught on camera here at Bubba Ritos and the manager says he was not alone.

Video surveillance caught the burglar who broke into Bubba Rito's around 2:20 Wednesday morning.

“A car dropped him off next door and he walked over, had a crowbar in his hand and just bashed out one of our lower windows over there,” said Bubba Ritos' manager Sonia Bearden.

During that walk you can get a good look at him.

“you can see his face in a few frames while he’s walking up to the glass to break it out,” said Bearden.

The burglar gets inside and ultimately finds a small change drawer before leaving. Something Bearden finds disturbing.

“It’s not nice. We want to feel safe here. This is a community favorite so don’t want any damage done here,” said Bearden.

Sonia Bearden noticed the burglar was wearing square toe boots and a red hoodie. That's something she feels she noticed in the video of the Arab burglar.

Was the culprit the same one that broke into the house in Arab? Guntersville police say they don’t know at this point in time but anything is possible.
