The work week ends on a soggy note. The system to our west is still producing plenty of rain. In the Tennessee Valley, there are light to moderate showers, with more rain drifting toward the area. Temperatures are mild as warmer air filters in from the south ahead of the storm system.
Rain will mainly impact the beginning of the day Saturday. Conditions will trend drier heading into the afternoon. Conditions dry out nicely next week.
Sunday brings mostly cloudy skies but is the start of a good stretch of dry weather. Monday jump starts the week with plentiful sunshine. Sunny skies last for most of the week ahead. Highs will be nice as well, staying in the mid to upper 50s. Overnight lows are likely not to fall below freezing.
