(WAFF) - A low to the west will be the cause of unsettled weather returning to the area. The low is already producing a lot of rain to the west of the state, and that system will continue to track eastward.
Widespread rain will take over tonight into Friday morning with a few isolated thunderstorms possible. Saturday may include a few light showers, but dry weather returns for the end of the weekend.
The beginning of the new week brings a good stretch of dry weather. Not only will it be dry, but sunshine will grace the sky for the week ahead.
Today will warm into the upper 50s, and the work week will wrap up near 60 degrees. The upcoming week will include decent temperatures with lows in the 30s most days and highs in the 50s.
