Fyffe struck first in the first quarter with a run from Payton Anderson to take the 7-0 lead.

Luverne responded with a potential touchdown, but the call was overturned. The Tigers settled for a field goal to make the game 7-3. A Fyffe fumble in the second quarter gave Luverne good field position and the Tigers hit another field goal to make the score 7-6 going into the half.

Anderson’s number was called again in the third quarter when he scored from 33 yards out. Fyffe took the 14-6 lead into the fourth quarter.
