(WAFF) -There are areas of dense fog across the Tennessee Valley this morning that could cause some visibility issues. The fog will diminish shortly after sunrise.
It is another cool start to the day, but afternoon highs are expected to peak in the low 60s. Today will be pleasantly dry with a mix of sun and clouds.
A cold front will be approaching from the northwest and is projected to move across the area Monday afternoon. A few showers are possible tomorrow afternoon and evening.
Highs will dip into the upper 50s tomorrow, and low to mid 50s Tuesday and Wednesday.
Monday will be mostly cloudy, but sunshine returns Tuesday and Wednesday.
Thanksgiving will be nice and dry. Temperatures will be cool to start the day, in the mid 30s, but highs will peak in the upper 50s. Thursday will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds.
Black Friday will begin dry, but rain will return during the evening into the overnight hours. A few showers could linger into Saturday morning.
