A FREEZE WARNING is in effect for the Tennessee Valley through 9:00 AM CST Sunday for low temperatures falling into the mid to upper 20s.
Please protect any sensitive plants and vegetation as well as taking animals inside. Sunday will be another cool day with passing clouds and highs in the middle 50s. Cloud cover will move in late Sunday night and lows will fall into the low to middle 40s.
Rain showers will develop Monday morning and become more widespread through the day, soaking rainfall is expected with most spots picking up over an inch of rainfall. High temperatures on Monday will be in the middle 40s. A rain and wintry mix combination is possible Tuesday morning, but most wintry precipitation should stay to our north.
Tuesday will be very cold with highs in the upper 30s and isolated rain showers. A hard freeze is expected by Wednesday morning with lows in the low to middle 20s, this will officially end the growing season in the Tennessee Valley.
High pressure takes control by the end of the week with abundant sunshine and cool temperatures in the 50s.
