Albertville man sings his way onto ‘The Voice’

ALBERTVILLE, AL (WAFF) - An Albertville man made it past Monday night’s blind auditions on NBC’s “The Voice."

21-year-old Colton Smith’s performance of "Alive” by Sia earned him a spot on Jennifer Hudson’s team.

Hudson turned around for him, putting him on her team by default.

Smith is a graduate of Albertville High School where he was a member of the show choir and a performance group called Vocal Ease that performed pop, gospel and jazz music.
